Bison disrupts flight services
Flight servicess in Mangalore were suspended briefly when a bison barged into the runway of the Bajpe airport. This has once raised concerns of security at the Bajpe airport ehich had two years back witnessed one of the worst air crashes in Indian history.
After services were briefly hit normalcy resumed following the intervention of the departments concerned.
The bison was spotted near the runway early this morning. When the staff tried to chase it away it ran and created havoc.
According to forest department officials the bison had trotted into the runway from the near by forest area.
