Yeddy hopeful of change

All eyes are on the meeting that former Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa will hold with Dharmendra Pradhan at 6 PM today. A close Yeddyurappa aide Basavaraj Bommai after a meeting with Pradhan said that they have appraised him of the political situation and added that they are hopeful of a solution.
Bommai said that Pradhan seemed convinced with their argument and hoped that something positive would come out.
Meanwhile Yeddyurappa will hold a meeting with Pradhan at 6 PM and deliberate further on the issue.
The Yeddyurappa camp is un-relenting and says that they would not settle for anything less than a change in leadership. The complaint is that Sadananda Gowda has lost the confidence of the MLAs and he does not acknowledge this fact. We have sought a legislature party meeting several times but the CM never called for one. Hence he needs to be replaced with Jagadish Shettar who enjoys the confidence of 70 MLAs backed by Yeddyurappa, the leaders also told Pradhan.
However it is unlikely that there would be a solution today. Pradhan would hear all the parties and go back to Delhi and report the matter.
