Hindu terror- Is it a political conspiracy against RSS?

There were sensational disclosures made by various investigation agencies claiming that Hindu terror was a reality. However today there appears to be a cloud on those disclosures with several accused claiming that they were forced to implicate Hindus and the RSS in these cases. The Central Bureau of Investigation which has one such letter alleging pressure from senior Congress leaders to implicate the RSS will now probe the matter and put out a report.

CBI sources tell rediff.com that the matter will be looked into and probed. We do not know if the allegations are true or false, but we will investigate the matter and put out a report.

The case has taken various turns and after the chargesheet has been filed, one of the accused in the Ajmer blast case, Bhavesh Patel accused the National Investigation Agency of a false probe. I am under pressure to implicate my co-accused and the NIA has been dictating terms to me. The same accused has also written to the CBI alleging pressure from the Home Minister, Sushil Kumar Shinde, Senior Congress leader Digvijay Singh and others to implicate the RSS in this case.

Prior to this two other accused Mukesh Vasani and Raj Singh had accused the NIA of offering them Rs 1 crore to name RSS leaders in the Sunil Joshi murder case. The NIA had told us that charges would be withdrawn against us, if we implicated RSS leaders.

The NIA finds itself in a spot of bother over these allegations. There is not just one such allegation. NIA sources say that in every case accused make such allegations. It is their right to do so, but it does not mean it is true. However we do agree that these are irritants which will slow down the process in the judiciary since such allegations have to be probed into.

Senior advocate and former State Public Prosecutor of Karnataka, H S Chandramouli says that the CBI or any other agency cannot brush aside such allegations. The CBI investigated Amit Shah on the basis of certain allegations, so why should the same rule of law not apply here too. The law mandates that every allegation be probed.

Ram Madhav, senior RSS leader the probe into this concept called Hindu terror is nothing but a political conspiracy against the RSS and its senior leaders. The intention of the entire drama is to implicate RSS leaders. This is not the first time that such allegations are being made. The entire episode smacks of a sinister conspiracy for political gains. We hope that the judiciary would take cognisance of the matter and conduct an honest and genuine probe.

Ganesh Sovani, advocate for Sadhvi Pragya Singh, an accused in the Malegaon case says that the ultimate objective of such probes is to ban the RSS. The Congress through the NIA will do whatever it takes to get the RSS banned. I however wonder why persons of such high stature are speaking to the accused in these cases. It has serious dimensions and I hope based on such statements some one files a writ petition in the High Court seeking a probe against these Congress leaders.
